Martha Stewart's Candied Citrus Peel

Candied Citrus is one of those delicious treats that while simple to make is often under utilized.

But, this zesty little treat packs a powerful punch both visually and with taste. Whether you want to garnish a dessert with candied zest or add candied slices of orange your next cake you absolutely will want this “go to” in your book.

I started using Martha Stewart’s Candied Citrus Peel recipe (click here for recipe) a long time ago and have not really changed it. except if im candying the actual fruit itself then a dash of vanilla bean adds a great depth of flavor and beautiful speckles of bean in your fruit. #yumyumyum
