Easy and Delicious TWO INGREDIENT Chocolate GANACHE

Yes, chocolate ganache sounds super fancy and decedent. Guess what? It is!

But, sometimes fancy and decedent do not always mean that it is difficult to make. Sure, you say….You KNOW how to bake. Yes, but I assure you that there was a time when I did not know how to make ANYTHING and ganache was one of the first and most simple things I learned how to make. This is a recipe that makes a statement any way you use it.

Once you know how to make this basic ganache recipe with only two ingredients the options for it are endless. Next, you can add flavors and use in countless ways. Maybe you want to serve it warm with fresh fruit or cool and whip it into a frosting, or maybe you want to do what I love to do and pour it all over top a dense and fudge chocolate cake. With this simple two ingredient recipe your options are endless.

Another reason I love this recipe is that it is easily swapped out for a dairy free version. What?! How do I do that..easy, I use amazing dairy free chocolate chips from Enjoy Life and substitute almond milk. These dairy free chocolate chips have allowed my dairy allergy kiddos the chance to eat Chocolate! To me, this is a MOM WIN any way you eat it!

So, how do I make this delicious goodness you ask. Easy, just ready below! Enjoy!

Recipe:

2 Cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips ( or dairy free chocolate chips)

1 Cup Heavy Cream (OR ALMOND MILK)

Place the heavy cream in a small sauce pot on the stove. Place the chocolate chips in large bowl and set aside a spatula. Heat the cream on medium high heat until just before a boil and bubbles form around the edges of the pan. Remove from heat and add to the chocolate bowl. Shake the bowl but do not stir yet. Let the milk melt the chocolate a bit (aprox. 30 seconds to 1 minute). Then, slowly start to mix until all of the milk and chocolate have been completely combined.

Congratulations, you made GANACHE! That was easy! Now, how will you use it? The options are endless.
